Forward 02:32
These miles are eating me alive Twisting my insides out It’s daring me to survive But your words are fuel And this wine is fire People bloom and wither Running, fading away. I try to keep up the pace but My mind aches for the day When you hold me together while I’m Just screaming at nothing and I Need you to brace me from this storm That keeps on coming and I Curse at the road I just keep willing myself closer When my song disappears Do you keep singing it forever? Go on, keep singing me. DO YOU?
2.
Wake up to spend another day in the mist Breathing the fog that devours memories I’d rather sleep because in dreams you still exist We were perfect The story of the century I sat amazed and watched our fairy tale unfold I held you tight and even chaos was so peaceful We kissed so hard but then the credits rolled Is someone writing the sequel? I only have these words because you breathed them into my soul And if they’re beautiful It’s just a reflection of you Now we’re locked here in limbo Listless and longing I don’t know another tempo It’s only your language I’m singing Can you replace your face with the memory? We were perfect The story of the century
3.
I’m existing here, and you’re existing there It’s impossible to breathe each other’s air Transmit a ghost kiss and an empty embrace Shipping you my pathetic tears just in case... So you’ll remember how much it stings So you’ll remember the words we’d sing So you can taste how goddamn much I miss you So you can tell me how to make it through
4.
Cascade 03:45
You are restless You are reticent A cascade of failure bleeding through You have no savior No salvation No determination to redeem you You settle for the dust that settles You reach and preach but come up short There’s no failsafe For you to crawl through You’re just wasted And you’ve wasted your last resort It’s been a long time It’s not the last time You washed up weary with a beggar's note And twisted hope into a loser's game Go wrap your fingers round that rusty cage You call it prison with the comforts of home You settle for the dust that settles Fuel that need to bleed when the spotlight’s on you There is no mystery to your existence The karma biting you was long overdue It's been a long time It's not the last time

about

Hurricane Blonde’s debut EP is an emotional, melodic journey through singer-songwriter Jason Evangelho’s personal demons and hesitant resilience. It explores themes of love, loss, longing, and self-discovery amidst the unpredictable chaos of life’s storms.

The EP weaves together gritty and grungy guitar riffs, driving drums, emotionally charged vocals and harmonious hooks to channel the raw energy and introspective depth synonymous with the 90s alternative rock era — an unmistakable influence on Evangelho’s songs.

These 4 songs exist somewhere between brooding intensity and catchy, cathartic release. So step into the storm, turn up the volume, and sing along.

[4 bonus tracks of original demos are included with each album purchase.]
